DocuTrans Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Excel translation service ("Service") provided by DocuTrans ("we", "our", or "us"). By using our Service, you ("User") agree to these Terms.
Article 1 (Definitions)
In these Terms, the following terms shall have the meanings set forth below:
- "Service" refers to the Excel file translation service "DocuTrans" provided by us.
- "User" refers to an individual or entity who agrees to these Terms and uses the Service.
- "Content" refers to files, data, text, etc. that Users upload through the Service.
Article 2 (Registration)
- To use the Service, you must register by agreeing to these Terms and following our registration procedures.
- We may decline registration applications in the following cases:
- When false information is provided
- When the applicant has previously violated these Terms
- When we otherwise determine that registration is inappropriate
Article 3 (Handling of Uploaded Files)
- Files may be uploaded up to the size limit specified by us. Please check the Service interface for detailed limitations.
- Users warrant that uploaded files do not contain content that infringes on third-party rights.
Article 4 (Translation Accuracy)
- The translations provided by the Service are machine translations and do not guarantee complete accuracy.
- For important documents, legal documents, medical information, etc., Users must verify the content themselves and, if necessary, have it reviewed by professionals.
- We are not responsible for any damages caused by errors in translation results.
- The Service is optimized for general business documents and everyday content; specialized terminology and unique expressions may not be accurately translated.
Article 5 (Personal Information Protection)
- We will appropriately protect Users' personal information and handle it in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
- Personal information collected through the use of the Service will only be used for the purposes of providing, improving, and supporting the Service.
- We will not provide personal information to third parties without User consent, except as required by law.
Article 6 (Prohibited Acts)
Users shall not engage in the following acts when using the Service:
- Acts that violate laws or public order and morals
- Acts related to criminal activities
- Acts that destroy or interfere with our servers or networks
- Acts that interfere with the operation of the Service
- Acts of collecting or accumulating personal information about other Users
- Acts of impersonating other Users
- Acts of directly or indirectly providing benefits to anti-social forces in connection with our Service
- Other acts that we deem inappropriate
Article 7 (Handling of Confidential Information)
- If uploaded files contain confidential information, Users are responsible for any external leakage, and we assume no responsibility.
- Users should upload files containing highly confidential information or personal information at their own risk.
- We do not check the content of uploaded files, but may perform automatic scanning when necessary to ensure system security.
- The Service temporarily stores uploaded file data for translation processing, but it will be automatically deleted 30 days after processing is completed.
Article 8 (Disclaimer)
- We do not explicitly or implicitly guarantee that the Service is free from factual or legal defects (including defects, errors, bugs, rights infringements, etc. related to safety, reliability, accuracy, completeness, validity, suitability for a specific purpose, security, etc.).
- We shall not be liable for any damages suffered by Users due to interruption, suspension, termination, unavailability or changes to the Service, loss of User data, or equipment failure or damage, or any other damages related to the Service.
- We are not responsible for any transactions, communications, or disputes that arise between Users and other Users or third parties through the use of the Service.
Article 9 (Changes to Terms)
- We may change these Terms without notice to Users when we deem it necessary.
- The revised Terms shall take effect when posted on our website, and Users shall comply with the revised Terms.
- Users are responsible for regularly checking the latest version of these Terms.
Article 10 (Governing Law and Jurisdiction)
- These Terms shall be interpreted in accordance with the laws of Japan.
- In the event of a dispute regarding the Service, the court having jurisdiction over the location of our head office shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
